A successful international cooperation in Cajabamba II Community

In Cajabamba II, a small community located between the Puyo and Tena cities at the entrance of the Amazonas jungle, in the Santa Clara Canton, Pastaza Province – Ecuador; the agricultural activities and the wood sale have been the main productive activities of the inhabitants.  According to the goals of the technician service of the German Cooperation DED about improving life of local people diminishing poverty, and the sustainable use of natural resources, the projects of: “Improving the agricultural capacities and of Organic Product sales, have been developed.  Both of them have been fostered thanks to the cooperation of Surtrek Tour Operator, enterprise that manages “Las Cascadas Eco-lodge” in this sector, and to the company of social corporate responsibility “Vitalideas”.
